Obiageli Chiki Ijegbulem is the Managing Director of Greenwich Asset Management Limited and is a seasoned financial services and capital markets professional with extensive experience across asset management, securities trading, treasury management, registrar services, risk management, and digital transformation.
She brings to her role a strong background in investment strategy, portfolio management, fixed income and money market operations, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Her leadership experience spans institutional and retail investment businesses, capital market infrastructure, and technology enabled financial services.
Prior to her appointment at Greenwich Asset Management Limited, Mrs. Chiki Ijegbulem served as Managing Director of Greenwich Registrars and Data Solutions Limited, where she led a successful strategic repositioning of the business into the data solutions and managed services space. Under her leadership, the company launched new digital products, modernized legacy systems, enhanced business process automation, improved multi-channel service delivery, and strengthened the efficient management and monetization of stakeholder databases. She drove sustainable growth in assets and profitability in line with long-term strategic objectives.
She earlier served as Managing Director at Greenwich Securities Limited, where she was responsible for corporate strategy, business growth, and market making activities across equities, fixed income, money market instruments, and foreign exchange. During this period, she strengthened compliance frameworks, expanded retail and institutional client participation, introduced an online equity trading platform, and fostered a performance driven and regulatory compliant culture.
Mrs. Chiki Ijegbulem has also held senior management positions at Futureview Securities Limited, including Chief Operating Officer and Head of Fixed Income/Securities Dealing Desk, with responsibility for daily trading operations, capital raising transactions, portfolio management for high-net-worth clients, and enterprise-wide risk management. Earlier in her career, she worked at Associated Discount House Limited as an Investment and Treasury Officer, where she was involved in money market trading, balance sheet management, bond transactions, market analysis, and treasury reporting. She began her professional career at United Bank for Africa Plc, gaining early exposure to organizational operations and people management.
Mrs. Chiki Ijegbulem holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Second Class Upper) from the University of Lagos. She has completed several executive and professional development programmes, including the Advanced Management Programme at Lagos Business School/IESE Business School, and specialised training in asset and liability management, treasury risk management, fixed income markets, securities trading, corporate governance, sustainability reporting, AML/CFT, and emerging technologies for boards and executives.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Member of the Chartered Institute of
Stockbrokers, a Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria member, and a SEC Sponsored Individual and Authorised Dealing Clerk of NGX. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors (Nigeria and the United Kingdom) and a Council Member of the Institute of Certified Market Registrars (ICMR).
Mrs. Chiki Ijegbulem was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in August 2026.
