Dr. Oreoluwa Sofekun
Non-Executive Director
Dr. Ore Sofekun is the CEO of Foothold Advisors Limited where she provides management and financial consulting services to Companies. She has over 25 years’ experience spanning: Funds Management, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Management Consulting and Manufacturing Sectors. She was the pioneer Chief Operating Officer of CardinalStone Partners and subsequently the pioneer Managing Director for Investment One Vencap.
She is a past President of the Fund Managers Association of Nigeria (FMAN) and while serving on Ministry of Finance, CBN & SEC-mandated committees, she interacted with colleagues from across the Nigerian Capital Market and MDAs.
Ore is a member of the Investment Committees of Beta.Ventures (a Tech-focused VC Fund) and DevCap Impact Fund. She also sits on the Board of WaterAid America, a US based NGO.
She holds BSc., MS, and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife & Iowa State University, USA as well as an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania USA.
Dr. Sofekun was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in August 2026.
