Market Operations Analyst

Role Summary:
We are looking for a Market Operations Analyst to support the Market Operations Control Team in market setup, monitoring, reporting, trading surveillance, and participant support. Please Note: Candidates must hold a degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, or Accounting with at least a Second-Class Upper (2:1) and a CGPA of 4.0+.
Responsibilities:
- Managing daily market trading activities, monitoring, and reporting.
- Providing market participant reporting, issuer support, and disclosures.
- Conducting market and company performance analysis.
- Capturing market data, researching trends, and preparing reports.
- Delivering trainings, presentations, and newsletters.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc./HND in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, or similar field.
- Strong Second-Class Upper (2:1) or higher, with CGPA of 4.0 and above.
- Membership in professional bodies (CIS, CFA, ICAN, etc.) is an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, organisation, and accuracy.
- Experience in research, reporting, and insight generation.
- Knowledge of capital markets and economic trends.
- Ability to work independently and in a team
