Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Developer with over 2 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying web and mobile applications in fast-paced environments. Proficient in React, React Native, Tailwind, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, SQL, and Next.js, with a strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, engaging with clients to define requirements, and delivering efficient, scalable solutions. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of debugging, optimising, and maintaining complex systems. Passionate about leveraging the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to create innovative software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
- Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.
- Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
- Testing and deploying programs and applications.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.
- Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
- Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.
- Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
- Ensuring all applications, databases, and source codes are backed up and replicated to backup servers.
- Performing support functions to resolve any reported issues presented by users.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc./HND in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- Minimum of a strong Second-Class Lower (2:2) or higher, with a CGPA of 3.0 and above.
- At least 2 years of experience in web and mobile application development.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with expertise in modern frameworks such as React (including Next.js) and React Native (Expo). Experienced in backend development with Node.js and Express, and skilled in working with databases including MongoDB and SQL. Adept at building responsive, visually appealing UIs using CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.

- Excellent knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
